Mrs. Ayushi Gupta, the co-founder and chief designer, has been a prominent figure in the ethnic womenswear industry for over 20 years. She has been delighting customers across Delhi NCR, creating timeless pieces that have earned the loyalty of countless clients. As her business thrived locally, her sons saw an opportunity to extend their mother’s craftsmanship beyond the city’s borders. They decided to take the business online, leading to the creation of the brand Tahiliya, which would introduce Lucknowi Weaves to the rest of India and the world.

Through careful research, they discovered that many mainstream ethnic clothing brands in India had been compromising on fabric quality over the years, opting for cheaper materials while simultaneously raising their prices.
